Racing Madagascar 2017 : sport at the heart of tourism


« Tourism, Discovery and Sport » these are the three values of Racing Madagascar, an innovative Ultra Trail of 150 kilometers. This year, for its second edition, Racing Madagascar event will still be held in the North from 11 to 16 July 2017.  The travel itinerary will start at Beamalona waterfall  to end in Diego Suarez town.  The 28 years of experience of the organizer « Boogie Event » promises runners a unique experience in the land of discovery.


Racing Madagascar is an international running event open to runners all around world regardless of gender. The race is composed of 6 categories of participants depending of gender and age with a minimum of 16 years old whereas the veteran cannot exceed 79 years old.   Six stages spread over six days … participants can enjoy panoramic view of natural wonders such as the famous Red Tsingy in the North and sand beaches in a distance between 10 and 42 km per day, sleeping in comfortable camps during the night.


In 2016, the first edition reunited 23 runners from 6 countries,  now, subscription is open online for 2017 edition.  The entry fee of 1500 € per person. Interested people has until 18 June 2017 to enter the competition as the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 100. Families and friends can follow the race by 4x4 vehicles following the organizer’s caravan,  this is the perfect association between sport challenge and touristic discovery.
