Corsairfly Madagascar : maiden flight from Antananarivo to Saint Denis


Promotion of tourism and also the proof of a competition in an Open Sky, Corsairfly Madagascar performed its first flight from Antananarivo to Saint Denis (La Réunion) last Sunday, in April 9th 2017. During a press briefing last Wednesday, Nicolas Le Houck, Corsair Managing Director in the Indian Ocean presented the project in presence of Roland RATSIRAKA, Minister of Tourism in Madagascar, who welcomed it with congratulations.


People can only choose between two departures in October 2017 but until September, a weekly flight will be available either aboard a Boeing 745 or an Airbus A330. Starting from October. Being operational in Madagascar for 20 years, Corsair Airline company advocates for cheap flights with high quality service onboard ; Nicolas LeHouck talked about a « fair and affordable price ». While travellers without luggage  only pay 198 € for their tickets, those with luggage have to disburse 238 €.  According to him, this regional flight will contribute to the development of tourism between Vanilla Islands. The company is expecting the arrival of 14 000 tourists from La Réunion island through this flight.
