Alefa Barea : Historic victory for Madagascar Against Nigeria


Alexandria – 30 June 2019. More than their first victory against Burundi, the Barea Madagascar has marked the African Cup of Nations history by beating the Nigerian Eagles with a final score of 2 – 0 tonight. Once again, the team has carried high Madagascar’s colour and becomes the leader within the Group B.


A victory against a world class team


From this day on, the world of sport will remember Madagascar. Barea Madagascar leads before Nigerian Super Eagles at the second place within the Group B.  The two teams both qualify for the 8th final during this African Cup of Nations 2019.  The first goal scored by Lalaina Nomenjanahary at the 13’ was followed by Carolu’s at the 53’.  


On the other side, Guinea is waiting for other scores before knowing their fate despite its victory over Burundi and its 4 points.   With its 7 points, the Barea Madagascar leads not only in the Group B but holds the highest points amongst the 16 african playing teams this day ….
